Parrish, Florida Resident Kathaleen “Kay” Hine was supposed to go to the Manatee County Fair on January 15, 1972. But something happened that day. The 51 year old woman, dressed in pale blue Levi’s and a dark sweater disappeared. She left behind 5 children, dozens of animals, her purse, her prescription sunglasses, medicine…everything. To this day, Kay Hine has never been found. This is her story. Original music this season by Lauren Marie and Tom Lively, of the Houston-based duo Million Stars Missing.

On June 17, 1990, the body of 18-year-old Lisa Boeckel was found floating in a canal on Snead Island about a mile from Emerson Point in Palmetto, Florida. On February 21, 1974, the bodies of Norman and Isabel Michaelson – both in their 60s – were found at their bayfront Longboat Key, Florida home by dinner guests that had come in from out of town. His body was found in the yard; her body was found in the trunk of their car. Multiple weapons were used. No motive or suspect was ever identified.
